Can I customize activewear colours, prints and patterns?

Update Time:2026/10/9

Yes. Activewear colours, prints and patterns can be customized through stock fabric shades, custom dyeing, all-over printing or placed graphics. The right route depends on fiber composition, base color, stretch and order size. bloomto offers color and print customization; confirm the exact fabric, process and physical color sample before approving production.

Match the process to the fabric

RouteWhat to approve
Stock colorsChoose from available fabric shades and confirm stock by fabric code and dye lot. A similar screen color is not a production color standard.
Custom dyeingApprove a lab dip: a small dyed sample on the intended material. Agree the physical color reference, viewing light and color tolerance before bulk dyeing.
Dye sublimationA common route for all-over graphics on suitable white or light polyester-rich fabrics. Check the printed sample under stretch and confirm the blend tolerates processing.
Other printing or placed graphicsFor nylon-rich fabrics, darker bases or localized logos, ask which ink or transfer system is compatible. “Digital printing” alone does not identify the process.

Epson’s textile-printing guide recommends white or light polyester and polyester-rich blends for sublimation, and checking printed yoga pants while stretched. X-Rite’s color workflow combines defined color specifications with sample measurement and visual approval.

Example: planning a three-color capsule

Illustrative order calculation: one legging style in three solid colors at 100 pieces per style per color equals 300 leggings. Adding a separately ordered bra style in the same three colors gives 600 garments, or 300 two-piece sets if quantities match. bloomto’s published standard MOQ is 100 pieces per style per color; custom fabric, dyeing and printing minimums still need project confirmation.

1 style × 3 colors × 100 pieces = 300 garmentsPlanning arithmetic based on the published standard MOQ, not a quote for every dye or print process.

What to record before approval

  1. Provide the physical color reference, fiber blend and fabric code.
  2. Supply vector logos or print artwork at the requested final scale, including repeat size and placement.
  3. Approve a print strike-off on the actual substrate, then check seam matching, distortion and color under stretch.
  4. Agree wash, rubbing and perspiration colorfastness methods and acceptance criteria for the intended use.
