How do I ensure the quality of my custom activewear production?
Quality control in custom activewear is a multi-stage process that starts at fabric sourcing and continues through to final shipment inspection. A reliable manufacturer should have clear QC checkpoints at every stage and transparent communication throughout.
Our QC Approach
Pre-Production
Fabric testing for weight, color, stretch, and shrinkage. Trims and accessories are verified against specifications before production begins.
In-Line Inspection
QC checks during cutting, sewing, and finishing. Issues are caught and corrected early to minimize rework and delays.
Sample Approval
Fit samples, pre-production samples, and sales samples are reviewed and approved before bulk production proceeds. This is your key quality checkpoint as a brand.
Final AQL Inspection
Finished garments are inspected using AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) sampling. Appearance, measurements, labeling, and packaging are checked before shipment.
How to Ensure Quality as a Brand
- Approve all samples in writing before bulk production
- Provide clear spec sheets with measurements, materials, and construction details
- Request in-line QC photos or reports during production
- Agree on AQL levels and inspection criteria upfront
- Maintain open communication with your production manager
